An Evening With Friends

On September 20, 2003, Dr. and Mrs. Mark Cohen of Voorhees, NJ, provided the picturesque surroundings of their lakeside home for this charity event for Durand. More than 100 people enjoyed an elegant evening among friends, indulging in lively conversation, culinary delights, and the sounds of a world-class band of talented musicians.

Patricia Lennon, who has volunteered thousands of hours over the years promoting the mission of Durand and now serves as President of the Board of Trustees, was honored as the recipient of the Durand Foundation’s first “Spirit of Durand” award. A showcase of artwork by Durand students and clients on display throughout evening was the
focus of a silent auction that helped raise funds to support this nonprofit organization.
